Sportsmanship!
Sportsmanship
I think its very important to help others. It shows that your a good character. The video i saw today about the Central Washington team (Soft ball team) helping the opponent was a very touching video. Sarah was in the other team (Western Oregon) and she injured herself while running to the base, she had no choice but to drag herself back to first base. None of her teammates went to help her. So the Central Washington team Liz and Mallary, carried her to every base. Everyone was very proud of what they did. It show what good persons they really are. I think everyone could learn a little something from them. Even if you are competing against someone, they are still people, and when someone needs help you should help them. What is sportsmanship to you? Is it just helping others who have helped you back? Sportsmanship is helping people around around you, no matter if you don’t know them or whatever the circumstances may be. It makes you feel really good about yourself when you have done something good for someone else, and that person will always be grateful towards you. Sportsmanship doesn’t come easy to everyone, it takes someone with good character and a big heart.
I always try my best to help others around me. Even if its with little things, like helping my sister do homework, or working with a classmate on a new project. I feel very proud of myself, and i know if i needed help they would be there for me too. So that’s why i want to encourage every one to help anyone around you when they need help. I assure you it will make you feeling really good inside. It’s a great thing to be able to help others, so what you waiting for!

Huntington Park High Going Charter :o
On Tuesday May 10 2011 Huntington Park students walked out of school during nutrition to walk all the way down town.About 300 students went, It was a very long walk, 7 miles long, but the students didn't care because their hearts were set on saving the school and all the teachers they have came to know. But sadly, The Los Angeles Board of Education approved their plan, and starting July 2011, all the teachers will be expected to reapply for their positions.
It was too late for HP High. the board of education made their decision without even considering what the student had to say. They ranked HP as the lowest performing high school, with only 5% of students passing math. Students are worried that next semester everything will be a mess. The Los Angeles board of Education thinks the problem will change over night with their new plan. But what they don't know is that this can take years for a school like HP. We all need to work together and make HP the school its meant to be!

Vacations!
On my vacations i went to volunteer at my little sisters elementary school for a couple of days. I didn't have much to do at home so i decided to go and help out. All the little kids there were very nice and and well behaved. I really enjoyed helping out in the classroom because because i felt like i was doing something to better our community. I too as well went to that elementary school and it felt good going back and seeing how far i have come. I wanna be a role model for my little sister. :)
These vacations were very stressful. I had to decide what college i would go to. it was a tough choice, but at the end i decided to go to Cal State Long Beach. I really liked the school, and i'm nervous and excited to dorm the 1st year. My dream has always been to become a registered nurse and i hope that i can make it because i know this career is a difficult one, but i know that if i put my all into it i will accomplish it!
