A mission statement is a declaration of a purpose or goal in a person's life. It is a brief summary, one or two sentences that sums up the purpose and benefits of your goal. It is important to have a mission statement so you know what to strive for in life. When you don't have a mission statement life can be a little blurry. You don't really know what what direction to go to. Everyone should have their own mission statements so they can have a purpose in life. A mission statement could not only benefit you, but others as well. A lot of people's mission statements are designed to be the benefit of others.

My mission statement is to go to a 4 year college, to become a registered nurse and be able to help others :)
